For local area data and trends, the most comprehensive site to visit is Northeast Washington Trends. NWT was established for the counties of Pend Oreille, Stevens and Ferry in Northeastern Washington, and provides easy access to current data and trends in these counties individually and as a group. Indicators were chosen by focus groups consisting of a broad range of community members and stakeholders. Indicators are generally grouped into: People, Economic Vitality, Education, Environment, Health, Housing, Public Safety and Recreation & Tourism. From these general groups, specific indicators are presented in graph format, tracking such things as per capita personal income, numbers of firms with X# of employees, employment by type of employer, etc. etc. We encourage you to visit their site often as it is constantly being updated as new data becomes available.
