Pend Oreille County beautifully displays the four seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall; and, there are things to do for each and every one. We have numerous winter festivals and winter dog sleds races. In spring, there is the Tundra Swan Festival. Summer opens with fishing and fun on the river, tons of hiking trails and a professional rodeo. In fall, our county offers tremendous hunting opportunities that go well into the winter. We also have three golf courses (including two nearby in Idaho).
