Jawfish Games has developed a platform that provides real-time tournament competition for mobile and web-based games that is designed to increase retention, virality and monetization.

The Jawfish platform features scalable cloud-based services, lightweight high-performance messaging and includes integrated analytics and real-time monitoring.

In May 2012, Jawfish Games announced the debut of Word Rack:  The World's Most Competitive Word Game.  Powered by the Jawfish platform, Word Rack competitors race against each other in real time to find the highest scoring word from a rack of seven tiles.  

Players currently have three tournament formats to choose from:

• Bracketed Tournaments where half the field is eliminated each round;
• Heads Up Play against one other competitor; and
• 8 person Battle Royale Tournaments where each round the lowest scoring player is eliminated.  

In all tournament formats, competition is real-time, each round lasts approximately 30 seconds, and one champion is crowned.
