NEWPORT, WA- The Greater Newport Area Chamber of Commerce will be having their next General Members' Meeting on Tuesday, February 7th at 6pm in the PUD's Box Canyon Room, located at 130 N. Washington, in Newport, WA. We will be having Chris Daniewicz from the WA State Department of Labor and Industries talking about L&I issues and what businesses need to know and be thinking about. Learn how to train your employees on safety and avoid unexpected rate increases through options such as having an employee stay at work performing "light" duty where appropriate. Contractors please note: this meeting will cover continuing education units for contractor registration renewals. Bring your comments and questions for Q&A time after the presentation.
