On August 18th, 2012 the Pend Oreille River Poker Paddle will now be a one day, family friendly event that sets sail from Rotary Park in Oldtown, ID and ends in Usk, WA.
Since the event will be held locally, Leslie Maki, Poker Paddle Committee Co-Chair said, “We are hoping that while friends and family are boating, their back up crew will hang around and enjoy the Oldtown Lawnmower races and the Cusick Fair.”
In addition to throwing darts for a poker card there will be more family friendly events that could include agility skills, “Go Fish”, ring toss, and possibly a scavenger hunt that younger children will enjoy. Stay tuned for more information soon!
